Gummy bears are super addicting; from their chewy texture to their sweet, juicy flavor, I can never have just one! It was one of my favorite snacks as a kid so why not put an adult twist on it?

And that's exactly what I did with this white gummy bear shot recipe!

That is why it was so fun recreating the flavor in liquid form with a mix of liquors. This quick and easy recipe for White Gummy Bear Shots is going to be a party favorite!

What does a White Gummy Bear Shot taste like?

Honestly, White Gummy Bear Shots taste just like candy! White gummy bears have a tart pineapple flavor. Inspired by this, these shots are a sweet blend of raspberry and other fruity flavors like peach and citrus.

This tropical mix has a similar taste to the candy that will have you downing shots but be cautious!

These shots are sweet and although they may look cute, they are strong but the fruit flavors mask the taste of this alcoholic beverage.

Ingredients needed to make white gummy bear shot - lemon lime soda, peach schnapps, raspberry vodka, and sweet and sour mix.

Ingredients

With just a few simple ingredients, you'll be throwing back a White Gummy Bear Shot in no time!

  • Raspberry Vodka: I've tried using both raspberry vodka, orange vodka, and cherry vodka. Raspberry vodka was my favorite but use what you have!
  • Peach Schnapps: This is a popular liqueur with an intense fruity flavor. It's a great mixer and adds a refreshing twist to these shots.
  • Sweet & Sour Mix: This adds a tangy quality to the drink. You can use store-bought but if you don't have them, you can make your own. All you need is equal parts lime juice and simple syrup.
  • Lemon-Lime Soda: to add just a touch of the fizz! I recommend using Sprite. You only need a splash of lemon lime soda!
  • White Gummy Bear garnish: Use these for garnish because who doesn't love their shots with a snack?

Optional - for added pineapple flavor, you can add a splash of pineapple juice. It really enhances that white gummy bear flavor!

How to Make White Gummy Bear Shots

You are just a few quick steps from enjoying this white gummy bear drink.

Firstly, pour raspberry vodka, peach schnapps, sweet and sour mix, lemon-lime soda, and optional splash of pineapple juice to a cocktail shaker or tall glass. Then add ice cubes.

Shake for 10-15 seconds and pour into shot glasses. Finally, garnish this popular sweet shot with white gummy bear candies. Enjoy!

Variations

White Gummy Bear Cocktail

Turn this fun shot into a cocktail by adding an ounce of cranberry juice or pineapple juice. Shake well and serve in a glass garnished with gummy bears.

Better yet, turn this into a white gummy bear martini by mixing together 3 ounces of raspberry vodka, 2 ounces of peach schnapps, and one ounce of sweet and sour mix. Shake or stir (personal preference) and strain mix into a martini glass.

Make a Jello Shot

Pour 1 package of flavored gelatin mix (I recommend using raspberry flavored mix) into a boil. Then add 1 cup of boiling water and whisk together until gelatin and water are combined.

Add ½ cup of vodka (raspberry flavored) and 3 tbsps of peach schnapps and 2 tbsps sweet and sour mix. Omit the lemon lime soda. Pour into shot cups and let them solidify in the refrigerator. It's a fruity vodka shot of gummy bear heaven! These will be the talk of your next party!

Boozy Bears

Fun fact: gummy bears do not dissolve in vodka. Instead, they absorb the booze! Fill a container with gummy bears and cover them completely with vodka.

They need to sit for at least 12 hours before they are ready. Use vodka-infused gummy bears as a garnish for your drinks or a fun treat.

Sweeten it Up

If you have a sweet tooth, then I have a suggestion you'll love! Make a sugar rim on the shot glasses. Using simple syrup or lime, rim the glass then dip it into granulated sugar.
