This shot contains:

  • Vanilla Vodka – the vanilla flavor of the vodka really gives this shot that cake flavor. Any cake-flavored vodka will do, but if you’re having difficulty finding this, regular vodka works too.
  • Cherry Vodka – the cherry vodka adds an extra layer of fruity flavor that compliments the pineapple flavor so nicely.
  • Grenadine – all you need is a splash of grenadine! It’s very sweet so don’t add too much. Less is more.
  • Pineapple Juice – the basis of these fruity shooters. Pineapple juice is essential to getting that delicious pineapple flavor!
  • Maraschino cherries – this is solely for garnish so if you don’t have any, don’t fret, the pineapple cake shots will still be delicious.

Tips

  • You only need a splash of grenadine. Simply pour a tiny bit into the bottom of the shot glass and you’re good!
  • If you don’t have vanilla vodka, cake vodka, regular vodka, or whipped cream vodka all work exceptionally well in its place.
