mango drink

Minty Mango Bourbon Slush! This drink is so darn good. It's sweet and refreshing and has bourbon, you can't go wrong. Also, with the weather being so hot lately, this is the perfect way to cool down!

Minty Mango Bourbon Slush is the epitome of summer. It's bright and tropical and such a delicious treat. When I think of Bourbon, I don't automatically think of mango, but the pair come together so well. With a little but of lemon or a lime and some simple syrup, this drink is sure to be a hit at your next gathering.

Did I mention how easy this is to make? All you have to do is add the ingredients to a blender and hit "start"! Twenty seconds later you have a delicious drink to enjoy!

mango drink in wine glass

Recently, my coworkers and I started meeting every Thursday for a virtual happy hour. It's been so much fun doing this as I work 100% remote (this was before the Covid-19 pandemic). Seeing and conversing with everyone is a fun way to get to know people who I'd otherwise never see in person.

Given this, you know what I'll be making for today's happy hour! I just mangoes and there's something about mango and mint that is so delicious. Perhaps I am biased but mint makes everything that it touches come to life.

tips and tricks

  1. You can use whole mangoes as opposed to frozen mangoes, just add ice to make the slush!
  2. Adding a dash of cayenne pepper really gives this sweet drink a nice kick!
  3. Feel free to customize this as you like - add more or less bourbon, add more mango, or more mint - this is a mere guide so feel free to get creative!
