2cupsCheddar Cheese, (shredded, additional for topping)
1/2cupPickled Jalapenos, (drained and diced)
1/2cupBlue Cheese Crumbles
1/4cupParsley, (diced)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Combine cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, old bay, blue cheese dressing, and hot sauce in a large mixing bowl. Use a hand mixer to mix everything together for about 30 seconds, until combined.
Then use a rubber spatula to fold in the chicken, cheddar cheese, pickled jalapeños, blue cheese crumbles, parsley, and a pinch of salt.
Add to a 10-inch round cast iron skillet and sprinkle additional cheese on top. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the cheesy is melted and bubbly.
Top with additional parsley, blue cheese crumbles, and a few dashes of hot sauce.
Notes
Use Quality Ingredients: Start with good-quality chicken, fresh herbs, and flavorful cheeses. Fresh parsley, tangy blue cheese, and sharp cheddar make a noticeable difference.Balance the Heat: Adjust the hot sauce to your taste, but don’t skimp on it—it's the heart of the dip. If you prefer a milder version, try using half hot sauce and half a milder sauce or yogurt.Let It Rest: After baking, give the dip a few minutes to settle. This helps the flavors meld together and makes it easier to scoop.Monitor the Bake Time: Keep a close eye on the dip as it bakes, a minute or two can be the difference between perfectly melted cheese and an overbaked dish.
