Melty Baked Brie with jam, fresh thyme, almonds, and crackers! This baked brie recipe is only 5 ingredients and SO easy and quick to make!

8 ozBrie, wheel
3tbspsStrawberry Preserves
1tspFresh Thyme
1/4cupSliced Almonds
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Make horizontal and vertical slits in the brie and top with strawberry preserves, fresh thyme, and almonds.
Bake for 10-15 minutes, until cheese becomes melted but isn't soupy. (TIP: press with the back of a spoon to see if the cheese has melted on the inside)
Place on a serving board and enjoy with bread, crackers, fruit, etc.
Notes
If you're making this for a larger crowd, you can use a 16 oz wheel. (just be sure to double the rest of the ingredients in the recipe too!)
Brie doesn't last as long as other cheeses, so be mindful of the expiration date.
If you can't find brie, camembert works here too! If you can't find either of those, try Coulommiers or Reblochon cheeses.
I used fresh thyme, however, if you're unable to find fresh thyme or don't have any, dried thyme will work just fine. You'd only need 1/4 teaspoon if using dried thyme.
Be sure to use round blocks of brie as opposed to the sliced brie/triangular chunks/wedges of brie.
Don't overcook the brie! I recommend not baking it any longer than 15 minutes or else it'll get soupy. If this happens, let the cheese cool for 15 minutes.
