Pot Roast Seasoning

- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- ½ tbsp dried thyme
- ½ tbsp dried parsley
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp Kosher Salt (adjust to your liking)
Combine garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried parsley, smoked paprika, dried rosemary, black pepper, and kosher salt in a bowl or jar.
Mix or shake together.
Use immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
Tips
- Use fresh spices! Over time, spices lose their flavor. In order to get the best results, use spices that are fresh!
- Marinate your next pot roast in this seasoning blend for 24 hours. Coat the meat with the spice blend, salt, and pepper. Allow it to sit in the refrigerator on a baking sheet, uncovered for 24 hours (also known as a dry brine). This allows the seasonings to penetrate the meat, making your beef roast super flavorful and tender!
- If you have any leftover seasoning, store it in an airtight container in a dark cool place. It'll last for up to six months.
- For the most flavorful meat, make sure to coat all sides of the meat with the seasoning!
