1cloveGarlic, (diced)
4sprigsThyme
4Sage leaves, (chopped)
1tbspFresh Rosemary, (chopped)
1/2cupButter
1/2cupAP Flour
2cupsMilk
1cupChicken Broth
1tbspBlack Pepper
1tspKosher Salt
Instructions
Dice bacon and add to a pan over medium low heat. Let the bacon fat render for 8-10.
Add garlic, thyme, sage leaves, and rosemary and continue to cook until fragrant, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Melt butter in the pan and then add flour. Gently whisk together constantly until a paste begins to form. Slowly pour in milk and chicken broth and continue to whisk together.
Simmer on low for 5-10 minutes, until desired temperature is reached. Add black pepper and salt.
