This sparkling Bourbon Sangria is an easy recipe that combines sweet red wine, a touch of bourbon, and fresh fruit for a delicious cocktail.

Ingredients
750mlRed Wine Blend
1/3cupBourbon
1cupPomegranate Juice
2Oranges, , sliced
10-15 Fresh Figs, , cut in half
1cupGrapes
2Cinnamon Sticks
1Star Anise, (optional)
1tbspGinger, , freshly grated (optional)
50.8ozGinger Beer, (4 cans)
Instructions
Add red wine, bourbon, pomegranate juice, sliced oranges, figs, grapes, cinnamon sticks, star anise, and grated ginger to a large pitcher. Stir together. Allow sangria to sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Just before serving, pour in ginger beer and stir.
Notes
Tips
If you prefer a drier sangria, use a dry red wine.
For the best flavor, let the sangria sit in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours prior to serving to allow the flavors to come together.
Add 1-2 star anise and cinnamon sticks for a nice spiced taste! Especially in the winter.
For a super fruity taste, add all of the fruit to the pitcher and muddle with the back of a spoon prior to adding the wine and fruit juices.
