Equipment

  • Large Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Fusilli Noodles (any noodles will do)
  • 2 pounds chicken tenderloin/or breasts
  • 4 tbsps butter
  • 4 tbsps flour
  • 1 ¼ cup milk
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2.5 tbsps onion powder
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsps fresh chives, chopped
  • 2 cups Brussel sprouts, halved
  • ½ tbsp red pepper
  • 2 tbsps olive oil

Instructions

  • Boil noodles as per package. Save ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  • Cut up chicken into chunks and halve brussel sprouts. Add 2 tbsps olive oil to a pan over medium heat. Add chicken and brussel sprouts to the pan and add salt, red pepper, and 1 diced clove of garlic. Saute until browned.
  • In a large pan, add butter and flour over low heat, stirring constantly. Slowly begin to add milk. When sauce begins to thicken, add nutmeg, salt and pepper, garlic, onion powder, sour cream, and chives. Stir until combined. If sauce begins to stick to the bottom of the pan, add 1-2 tbsps of pasta water at a time.
  • Add noodles, chicken, and brussel sprouts to sauce.
  • Eat!
