Ingredients

  • 4 Bone-In Pork Chops
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp red pepper
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic, diced
  • 3 tbsps honey
  • 3 tbsps soy sauce
  • cup chicken stock
  • String beans, optional
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Olive oil, for cooking

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Add ground ginger, garlic powder, red pepper flakes to a small dish and whisk together. Coat pork chops in seasoning blend and add salt and pepper, to taste. Add butter and olive oil to a cast iron skillet/oven safe pan and warm over medium heat. Sear pork chops until brown on both sides, about 4 minutes each side.
  • Remove pork chops from skillet and set aside. Add soy sauce, honey, and diced garlic to the skillet and mix together. Warm for about 3-5 minutes and add chicken stock. Place pork chops back in the skillet. If using string beans, add now to the skillet as well. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until thoroughly cooked.
