Toasted Hazelnuts
- 1 cup Hazelnut, roughly chopped
- 3 tbsps Salted Butter
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- Pinch of Salt
Hot Cocoa
- ¼ cup Cocoa Powder
- ¼ cup Sugar
- Pinch of Salt
- 3 ½ cups Milk
- ¼ tsp Nutmeg
- 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips
- ¾ cup Hazelnut Creamer
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
- Whipped Cream
Roughly chop hazelnuts and place in a large skillet over medium low heat with butter, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Toast for 7-8 minutes, until hazelnuts begin to deepen in color. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a large pot, add milk, cocoa powder, dark chocolate chips, sugar, nutmeg, and pinch of salt over medium low heat. Stir occasionally until dark chocolate chips melt, do not bring to a boil. Remove from heat once warmed and all chocolate has melted. Add hazelnut creamer and vanilla extract.
Pour in a cup/mug and top with whipped cream and toasted hazelnuts.
