- 750 ml Red Wine Blend
- ⅓ cup Bourbon
- 1 cup Pomegranate Juice
- 2 Oranges , sliced
- 10-15 Fresh Figs , cut in half
- 1 cup Grapes
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks
- 1 Star Anise (optional)
- 1 tbsp Ginger , freshly grated (optional)
- 50.8 oz Ginger Beer (4 cans)
Add red wine, bourbon, pomegranate juice, sliced oranges, figs, grapes, cinnamon sticks, star anise, and grated ginger to a large pitcher. Stir together. Allow sangria to sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Just before serving, pour in ginger beer and stir.
Tips
- If you prefer a drier sangria, use a dry red wine.
- For the best flavor, let the sangria sit in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours prior to serving to allow the flavors to come together.
- Add 1-2 star anise and cinnamon sticks for a nice spiced taste! Especially in the winter.
- For a super fruity taste, add all of the fruit to the pitcher and muddle with the back of a spoon prior to adding the wine and fruit juices.
