Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Jigger
  • Highball Glasses

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Simple Syrup
  • 10 Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 2 oz Gin
  • 2 oz Lime Juice
  • 4 oz Ginger Beer (or club soda)

Instructions

  • Add simple syrup and mint leaves to a cocktail shaker. Muddle until fragrant, about 10-15 seconds.
  • Add gin, lime juice, ginger beer, and ice cubes. Place the cap on top of the cocktail shaker and shake until the shaker becomes cold, about 10 seconds.
  • Strain into your favorite serving glasses and garnish with fresh mint and limes.

Notes

  • If you don't have gin, you can make a vodka mojito by simply swapping gin for vodka.
  • Don't have any lime juice? Use lemon juice instead.
  • If you don't have any simple syrup, you can easily make your own. Use equal parts sugar and water and boil them together. Check out this recipe to see how to make your own.
  • Garnish with lime wedges, edible flowers, fresh blueberries, and or a sprig of fresh mint.
