Equipment

  • Griddle optional
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper or Aluminum Foil

Ingredients

  • 12 Slider rolls
  • lbs Ribeye sliced thinly (ground beef can substitute)
  • 2 Green peppers roughly chopped
  • 1 Large onion roughly chopped
  • 1 tbsp Onion powder
  • 2 Garlic cloves minced
  • ¼ cup Mayonnaise
  • 4 tbsps Butter room temperature
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 6 slices Provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper
  • Sesame seeds optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Season steak with salt, pepper, and onion powder. Drizzle olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat and cook until browned. Then add onions and green peppers and cook until onions are softened and caramelized. Turn off heat and add american cheese and mix in with a spatula until melted. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Slice slider rolls in half and place the bottom layer on the bottom of a parchment lined baking sheet. Combine minced garlic, mayo, salt, and pepper and mix together. Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread on the bottom and tops of the slider rolls.
  • Place steak on top of the bottom of the rolls and top with provolone cheese slices. Place the top of the slider rolls on top. Slice butter and place on the tops of the rolls and sprinkle with sesame seeds (optional). Bake for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the tops of the buns are golden brown.

Notes

  • If you are unable to find ribeye, you can use ground beef instead (1 lb).
