tahini & honey edible chocolate chip cookie dough
I was so pleased that so many people loved my Tahini and Honey Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe. One of the main comments that I received most was "the cookie dough was so good, I couldn't stop eating it". On par with that comment, I decided to re-create an edible cookie dough version of this recipe - Tahini and Honey Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough!
Today is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Day and I am participating in a collaboration on Instagram to commemorate. Collabs are fun ways to engage and get creative. When thinking of ways to re-invent the chocolate chip cookie, I was reminded of my own recipe and all of the feedback. I thought to myself "Why not revamp the recipe a bit?". This recipe is far easier than the original recipe (but just as good!) and it great for summer because you don't have to use the oven to bake!

it's so good
When thinking of Chocolate chip cookies, what comes to mind? Probably not tahini and honey. I can honestly say that the combination of tahini and honey is one that you'll want to use on everything once you try it.
I could probably barrels of this cookie dough. I'll probably end up eating this whilst Netflix and Chilling this Friday. A lot of people have asked "Where do I find Tahini?". You should be able to find it at your Grocery store. I purchased mine at Mom's Market but I know that Trader Joe's sells it as well.

tips and tricks
This recipe is super easy. There aren't many tips or tricks for this one. My only words of advice are to:
- Beat the butter until it's nice and creamy and fluffy.
- Melt the honey for 15 seconds in the microwave.
- Make sure to heat the flour prior to using to prevent to kill off any bacteria.
