Delicious and Easy Hamburger Buns
Are you ready to make the most fluffy, light, and tasty hamburger buns?? These are SO good - so much that I had to share with you all! Honestly, you don't even need the burger to eat them, they are good on their own or to serve as dinner rolls too! I was making pulled pork and decided that instead of heading to the grocery store, that I would make my own hamburger buns!
I have no regrets. They were easy to make and honestly, so delicious. I cannot wait for you to give this a go!

Ingredients
1 tbsp instant yeast
¼ cup milk, warm
½ cup water, warm + 1 tbsp
2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted + 1 tbsp
2 tbsp sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
Directions
- Add yeast, warm milk, warm water, sifted flour, sugar, salt and an egg to a stand mixer with the dough hook attachment. Mix until dough begins to form. Add butter and continue to mix for another 4 minutes, until dough is smooth and no longer sticks to the bowl.
- Add dough to a well oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap and allow the dough to rise for 1-2 hours, until the dough doubles in size. Remove dough onto a well floured surface. Divide dough into 6 equal parts and roll each section into a ball. Add pieces to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and allow to rise for another 30 minutes to an hour.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Prior to putting the oven, remove plastic wrap and brush each bun with butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes. Once done, brush with butter again and allow them to cool.
- Eat up!
